After focusing on different projects for over 20 years, Matt Johnson, who writes and produces most of the songs, made a remarkable comeback in 2021 with THE THE\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s #1 live release \u00e2\u20ac\u0153The Comeback Special\u00e2\u20ac\u009d. The strictly limited 7\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Vinyl Single includes two songs and features a powerful \u00e2\u20ac\u201c and previously unseen \u00e2\u20ac\u201c artwork by Matt\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s late brother, Andy Dog. The title track features contributions from THE THE, Eric Schermerhorn on guitar, Earl Harvin on drums, Barrie Cadogan and Gillian Glover on backing vocals.
